Repairs & Diagnostics
Electrical Repairs & Fault Finding in South West London
Systematic diagnosis and repair of tripping circuits, dead sockets, faulty lighting and nuisance RCD trips.
Electrical faults are rarely random. A breaker that keeps tripping, a socket that has gone dead, or lights that flicker usually point to a specific underlying cause – damaged cable, a failing appliance, moisture ingress, or a deteriorating connection.
We diagnose faults systematically rather than by guesswork: inspecting the circuit, testing insulation resistance and continuity, isolating sections of the installation, and confirming the cause before we repair it. That approach finds the real fault first time, instead of repeatedly resetting the breaker and hoping.
Once the fault is identified we explain what we found, quote the repair, and restore the circuit safely. If the fault points to a wider problem – such as an ageing consumer unit or deteriorated wiring – we will tell you honestly and let you decide.

Frequently asked questions
My breaker keeps tripping – is that dangerous?
A tripping breaker is the protection doing its job, but the cause matters. It can be a faulty appliance, an overloaded circuit, or a wiring fault. Stop resetting it repeatedly and get it investigated – we can diagnose the cause properly.
Can you find a fault without lifting all my floors?
Usually, yes. Testing and isolation narrows the fault to a specific section of the circuit before any access is needed, so disruption is kept to a minimum.
What if the fault is urgent?
