Outdoor electrical work lives or dies on two things: the right equipment ratings and properly protected wiring. We install garden, security and architectural lighting using correctly IP-rated fittings and suitably protected cable routes, so the installation stays safe through years of British weather.
From subtle path and planting lights to PIR security lighting, soffit and feature lighting for patios and entertaining areas, we design the scheme around how you use the space – then install it with RCD protection and weatherproof enclosures throughout.
All outdoor circuits are tested and certified to BS 7671, and notifiable work is notified through our NAPIT registration.

Walk the space
We visit, discuss what you want the lighting to do, and agree positions, fittings and cable routes before quoting.

Fittings, buried or clipped cable runs, switches and controls are installed with the correct ratings and protection.

The circuits are tested and certified, controls demonstrated, and the garden left as we found it.
Frequently asked questions
Can any light fitting go outside?
No. Outdoor fittings must carry an appropriate IP rating for their position – exposure to rain, sprinklers or ground water each demand different ratings. We only install fittings rated correctly for where they sit.
Do garden lights need a special cable?
Yes. Buried runs use steel-wire-armoured or suitably protected cable at safe depth, and all outdoor circuits get RCD protection. We handle the specification so the installation is safe and durable.
Can you add smart or timer controls?
Yes – dusk-to-dawn sensors, PIR motion control, timers and smart switching can all be designed into the scheme so the lighting works the way you want without thinking about it.
