Rewiring
Specialist Residential & Commercial Rewires in London
Full and partial rewires for modern electrical loads – Part P compliant, certified, and finished with a complete clean-up.
Outdated rubber, lead, or fabric-sheathed cabling presents severe fire and shock hazards. Felix Electrical Services Ltd delivers full first-fix and second-fix house rewiring tailored to modern electrical loads – including designated induction hob feeds, heat pump circuits, EV charger cables, and ambient architectural lighting. All rewires strictly adhere to Part P of the Building Regulations, backed by full certification and complete clean-up.
A rewire is the right time to future-proof: extra sockets where you actually need them, data and AV points, outdoor power, and provision for technologies you may add later. We plan socket and lighting layouts with you before a single cable is run.
We phase the work to keep disruption manageable, protect floors and furniture throughout, and leave the property clean – rewiring is invasive work, but it does not have to feel like it.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my house needs rewiring?
Rubber, lead or fabric-sheathed cable, round-pin sockets, an old fuse box, or a very old installation date are strong indicators. An EICR will tell you definitively – we can carry one out first.
Can I stay in the house during a rewire?
Often yes, for partial rewires or phased full rewires, though power will be off in working areas. For a full rewire of an occupied home we plan the sequence with you so essential circuits are restored each day.
Does a rewire need building control approval?
Yes – rewiring is notifiable under Part P. As NAPIT registered installers we self-certify the work, notify building control, and issue your certification once complete.
