Inspection & Testing

Landlord & Domestic EICR Testing Across South West London

Thorough fixed-wiring inspections for landlords, buyers and homeowners, with an itemised digital report within 24 hours.

Fixed wiring naturally deteriorates with age and physical stress. Whether you are a landlord fulfilling legal 5-year inspection obligations under the private rented sector regulations or purchasing a property in London, our NAPIT-registered engineers conduct rigorous electrical inspections. We check for overloaded circuits, electric shock risks, lack of earthing/bonding, and defective DIY wiring, delivering an itemised digital report within 24 hours with clear C1, C2, and C3 classifications.

The report tells you plainly what is satisfactory, what needs urgent attention, and what is recommended improvement – no jargon without explanation. If remedial work is required, we quote it separately and transparently.

We work with landlords, letting agents and commercial facility managers across South West London, and can coordinate access with tenants where needed.

Frequently asked questions

Can landlords book an EICR?+

Yes. We carry out inspections for landlords and agents and issue an itemised digital report within 24 hours, satisfying the five-year inspection requirement for the private rented sector.

What do C1, C2 and C3 mean?+

C1 means danger is present and immediate action is required. C2 means potentially dangerous – urgent remedial work is needed. C3 means improvement is recommended. A report with only C3 observations or none is satisfactory.

Do I need an EICR when buying a house?+

It is strongly recommended. A standard homebuyer survey does not test the electrics, and an EICR tells you the true condition of the wiring before you commit – and gives you evidence to negotiate if work is needed.
